Agia Efimia is a very popular destination of Cephalonia .Is very close to Melissani cave .The place is full of tavernas , cafes and touristic shops .

Approach free of dangers , the village is easily identified .Care needed at the prevailing winds during the summer season especially between 1500-2000.

Mooring
While approaching make contact with the harbourmaster on VHF Ch 74 .They will guide you probably on the N quay and usually they are helping with the mooring .When the N quay is full the alternative is on the E quay .On both sides of the quay care needed as the prevailing winds gusts down onto the harbour so make sure that your anchor is holding well.The bottom is mud and weed with rocks , not everywhere good holding .Let out as much scope as possible.
