same as 2019, we came back to Spiros and his team to charter in ionian sea. sun odyssee 33i from 2015, but well maintained and in good conditions great holidays, great service, always friendly and helpful for any request. sure we come back to Spiros!
NO FORGETTING AMNESIA We set off from Agios Efimia, Kefalonia, circumnavigated Ithaki, calling in at some interesting anchorages before sailing to Atoro and then to Kastos before returning via Meganissi Island and a memorable afternoon sail down Steno Ithakis in a rising wind. The yacht, which was called “Amnesia” was anything but unforgettable. The boat was a Cyclades 43.4 Cruiser with (thankfully) slab reefing and roomy accommodation down below. The all-important anchor windlass had recently been replaced and Georgios had equipped the boat for every conceivable circumstance and thankfully nothing went wrong. We had very light winds (apart from the last day of the sailing trip) and had to motor for fairly long distances at times with absolutely no trouble from the engine. This sailing area never ceases to surprise me in its beauty and variety and, despite the busy conditions in some of the harbours we were always able to secure a comfortable berth. Spiros managed to find us possibly the last available boat in Greece for our last minute charter, the boat evidently came across from Levkas especially for us ! It was the most personal service we have received in many years of chartering., Spiros was very friendly from our first email and answered all of our questions. and the boat was good value too..Shaking hands in a car park could only happen in Greece!. If you have any concerns about moving away from the big companies, have no fear everything was great. We have chartered many times in the Ionian but it made a real change to start and finish in Kefalonia, so much easier to reach our favourite places both on this island and on Ithaka.. We did have a problem with the boat on the last day, the back up service came to our aid and after an unscheduled visit to Fiscardo we were on our way after lunch . The offer of dinner that evening was above and beyond what we would expect and the experience would give us,peace of mind to charter with this company again. Nous sommes une petite famille de 4 personnes. Mon épouse, moi même et nos deux filles de 8 et 10 ans Nous étions en vacances dans les îles Ionniennes et la vue répétée des bateaux naviguant sur les eaux turquoises nous a donné envie de tenter l'aventure. Nous avons eu la chance de naviguer avec skipper pendant une semaine sur un BAVARIA 40S répondant au doux nom de Kanenas. Nous avons passé une semaine de croisière inoubliable. Spiros hat unseren ersten Familienurlaub in Griechenland perfekt organisiert – inklusive An- und Abreise nach bzw. von Sami zum Flughafen Argostoli. Vielen Dank dafür! Wir hatten uns für eine Bavaria 39 cruiser von 2006 entscheiden, die ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis versprach. Das Boot hatte daher schon einige Gebrauchsspuren, war aber insgesamt o.k.. Dank unseres deutschsprachigen Skippers, den Spiros uns auf Wunsch vermittelt hatte, hatten wir wunderbar entspannte, unkomplizierte und abwechslungsreiche Pfingstferien im Ionischen Meer und konnten eine Menge toller Eindrücke bei idealen Wetterbedingungen von Kefalonia, Ithaka, Kastos, Meganisi und Lefkada sammeln. Das müssen wir unbedingt bald fortsetzen, da waren sich meine Frau, meine beiden Söhne und ich uns einig. Bei Kefalonia Sailing zu chartern war eine gute Idee und kann ich wirklich empfehlen.
italiano / español Settimana indimenticabile, posti meravigliosi che abbiamo potuto raggiungere anche grazie alla guida di un bravissimo skipper (un ragazzo inglese che da anni lavora in quella zona e conosce ogni suo angolo paradisiaco) che ha subito capito il tipo di esperienza che cercavamo più intima e meno commerciale. Unica piccola pecca era il fatto che parlasse solo inglese e quindi le nostre figlie hanno potuto interagire con lui molto poco. Bellissime veleggiate e barca ben attrezzata. Ottima comunicazione con Spiros che ha organizzato tutto egregiamente, dall\\\'aeroporto in poi. Un sogno!! Semana inolvidable, lugares maravillosos que pudimos conocer también gracias a el skipper que nos dieron (un muchacho inglés que trabaja hace años en esa zona y conoce cada uno de sus paradisiacos rincones) el cual entendiò enseguida el tipo de experiencia que buscavamos, mas intima y menos comercial. La unica pena era que hablaba solo en inglés asì que mis hijas pudieron conversar muy poco con el. Hermosas navegaciòn y barco a vela muy comodo. Optima comunicacion con Spiros que ha organizado todo perfectamente, desde el aeropuerto en adelante. Un sueño!!
We chartered a boat for August 2020. The initial booking process was easy and communication was excellent. Spiros is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. He even put us in contact with a reliable car rental company. Despite all the uncertainty about whether our trip would even happen due to COVID-19, Spiros was great all the way through; reassuring us that even if it couldn't happen we would be able to move the booking and we wouldn't lose any money. The boat was excellent (only a couple of years old) and our Captain Niko was an absolute star; he quickly became part of the family and the children loved him too. We have a such a great time and make some amazing memories. We will definitely use their services again...LAGOON 39, SEP 21
We had a wonderful one week charter in October sailing from Sami around the Ionian Islands. We chartered San Giorgio, I beautiful 2017 Lagoon 42 which was luxury indeed. We set sale with 2 families on board to explore the Ionian and had the most wonderful holiday visiting beautiful bays with turquoise seas as well as amazing villages like Fiskardo. Spiros was extremely helpful and a pleasure to charter from, always quick to respond to any questions and make sure we had the best possible time, we also had support from the owner which was much appreciated on a couple of technical problems.
